Kenneth Hoffman Jr. drug raid facts from official documents:

  • The raid, organized by Detective P.J. Ondeck of the Lancaster County Drug Task Force, occurred on Jan. 20, 2006 at the upstairs residence at 3098 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise. The residence was owned by Hoffman.
  • A confidential informant told Ondeck that Hoffman "…is in the business of selling cocaine from that residence and in local bars in the area. … Hoffman often stores drugs and firearms in a detached garage that sits behind the residence, as well as in the residence."
  • During the week of Jan. 8, 2006 the informant "made a controlled purchase of a quantity of cocaine from Hoffman" at the residence. He made a second "controlled buy" right before the raid.
  • Hoffman and his girlfriend were arrested in the raid but released that same night. Police were reported to have stated that Hoffman has pull and that's why he was released.

  • $1,180 U.S. currency behind speaker in bedroom next to the closet.
  • $24,000 U.S. currency found in a Bunker Hill digital floor safe on the floor in a walk-in closet.
  • Metal Harley Davidson tin can with crack cocaine under a computer desk.
  • Ziploc bag containing powder cocaine found on the ground on east side of the residence.
  • Corner cut bag containing powder cocaine found on roof.
  • Marlboro cigarette box containing two pieces of crack cocaine on the computer desk.
  • One Altoids container containing marijuana and unknown powder found under floor boards in the garage.
  • One digital scale found under the computer.
  • One digital scale found on a shelf in the garage.
  • Hand held police scanner found on dresser.
  • Black nylon bag containing assorted drug paraphernalia next to the safe in the walk-in closet.
  • An eye witness stated that Hoffman was flushing drugs down the toilet and threw cocaine out on the roof as the task force entered.
