Facts about Kenneth Hoffman Jr.

  • 1/20/06 – Hoffman residence at 3098 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise is raided and searched - Hoffman and others taken into custody. Drugs, scales, drug paraphernalia and over $25,000 cash uncovered. Hoffman arrested and charged by P.J. Ondeck, of the Southern Regional Police Department and a member of the Lancaster County Drug Task Force. [In the weeks before, Hoffman sold cocaine twice to undercover operatives of the Lancaster Drug Task Force who also conducted surveillance leading to the raid]. Hoffman has yet to go to trial for the arrest; his case has been continued well beyond the 180 day requirement. This is often a sign the defendant is working with police or other authorities as a criminal informant on a case that has not come to trial. Hoffman told Daddy Justice he is representing himself and he is going to trial in January after being granted continuances repeatedly since the arrest. He claims he is going to jail but states there has been NO discussion of what the sentence will be.
  • In the past year there have been major drug busts in Lancaster County that haven't made it into the media or come to trial. Hoffman is associated with the parties arrested and reputed to be the DEA operative responsible for these busts and raids.
  • On 12/1/06 Hoffman was charged for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license (occurred on 10/14/06 but not charged until 12/1/06). Hoffman is still driving. In each case legal action has been continued. Hoffman checked himself into a psychiatric facility demonstrating the precarious nature of his mental health since this death and bust.
  • Hoffman moved in February into the township where Ondeck works. Wallace's car was found on a property in Paradise that Hoffman had sold about a month earlier to The Factory Youth Center for $125,000. Hoffman's mother had deeded the property to him for $1 on Aug. 31, 2004. The property is across Route 30, approximately one-eighth of a mile from where Wallace's body was found. Factory Youth Center has refused to allow Daddy Justice to investigate this house for unknown reasons, but they did acknowledge that they had allowed Hoffman to continue having access to the property after the sale because he had possessions there remaining.
  • 6/19/06 – Hoffman was arrested for simple assault and harassment - a PFA (protection from abuse) was filed against him.
  • According to court records "The defendant did punch and kick the victim several times, resulting in physical injuries. The victim received strikes to her face, body and rear of her head. I observed on the victim's right jaw scrapes and a round abrasion. The victim related the round abrasion is a cigarette burn from the defendant". The complaint and PFA were withdrawn but the defendant agreed to pay restitution for medical bills in a plea agreement of the criminal charges. Found guilty, fined $100 and $1,182 restitution. On 3/1/07 the victim, Sasha A. English, petitioned the court to allow Hoffman to have contact with her again. The Lancaster district attorneys office as well as Mid Penn Legal supported dropping the charges and PFA. They also allowed the re-contact requested by the victim.
  • Hoffman admitted to Daddy Justice that he has missed numerous court dates and has had his bail revoked and been tracked down out of state but remains out on bail at this time.
  • Hoffman has a prior conviction for sale of cocaine; he did seven years in a penitentiary in the nineties. His next conviction could be a lifetime sentence for a man his age.
